my mother has heart failure it was well managed at home however when she was in hospital she put on 10 pounds in one week this was left untreated and she went into acute H.F she is tired all the time will vitamin D help her?

Her heart failure may be CAUSED, at least in part, by vitamin d deficiency. Her vitamin d deficiency should be remedied ASAP! And her fatigue could very much be due to Vitamin D Deficiency Fatigue. There are many problems with having low vitamin D levels. Heart failure and fatigue are just a few.
