Will Tetracycline Get Rid of H Pylori

I have H Pylori and am being treated with tetracycline, 4 times a day for god only knows how long. Will this take care of the problem? I have had this off and on for years, and my stomach lining is in bad shape. I couldn't tolerate the stronger antibiotics!!

Have you Been Treated Before?

Hi Dorothy,

You said that you've had this for years and that you couldn't take stronger antibiotics. Have you been treated for H pylori before and it was unsuccessful?

If you've been treated before, then you already know that antibiotic treatment can fail. But what are you doing about the reasons why it is failing. It's not the antibiotics aren't working, but that YOUR immune system isn't working. You have some SERIOUS health issues if your 'stomach is in bad shape' and you can't get rid of the H pylori. This is a real problem and you need to start getting yourself in better shape if you want to get better.

You need to start thinking about how and why you got H pylori in the first place and why you can't get rid of it. There IS a reason and it's your underlying overall health, which I suspect is pretty bad...

I suggest that you take a look at my book The H Pylori Solution. It goes into detail about why you have H pylori, why you can't get rid of it and what to do in order to finally get rid of it.

yes i have had it before and yes i have gotten rid of it before. i kinda figured it was my immune system, but i am also 75 years old. i dont know if that figures in to itr or not.yes it make me pretty sick when it turns into gastitis. im taking broccli capsules for it also. ok thanks dorothy burgess!!!
