IF MAG OXIDE IS NOT THE BEST AND DOES NOT ABSORB VERY WELL, WHY DO THEY EVEN SELL IT...SO IS MAG CHELATE OR MAG MALATE BETTER TO TAKE?

They sell it because it's cheap to manufacture. That's why. Yes, I've said many times that basically ANY other form is better than Magnesium Oxide. Everyone's body chemistry is going to be different, so you just have to find the kind that works the best for YOU. What works for someone else may not necessarily work the best for you, so experiment.
However, I've found that Jigsaw Health's Extended Release Magnesium Malate works consistently well for most people. They are one of the few companies with an 'extended release' form of magnesium, which means that you don't need to take it so many times per day, which most people appreciate when they are trying to do the high dosing that I recommend.
