Vitamin D results

I just received my Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy results and am concerned. Will you please review and determine if I need to take supplements or possibly perscribed Vitamin D capsules?

VITAMIN D, 25-HYDROXY 24 30 - 100 ng/mL
VITAMIN D, 25-HYDROXY, D3 14 NOT ESTABLISHED ng/mL
VITAMIN D, 25-HYDROXY, D2 10 NOT ESTABLISHED ng/mL

CALCIUM 8.8 8.5 - 10.7 MG/DL

Hi Judy,

First of all, you are already taking supplements, but of an insufficient dose and not the proper kind- which you failed to mention in your question and which would be essential for me to know in order to help you make any decisions.

Next, Your question is a 'garden variety' question of which I've answered quite literally thousands of times on this site. Instead of giving you the answers, I'd like you to work this out for yourself and to figure out what you 'should' do- which I can't tell you anyway since I can only provide information to help you make your own decision.

Can't understand test results

I just had the vitamin d hydroxyl test..I do not understand how to read the results..range says 75-250, mine was 76. So what does it mean? Thanks
