Why would you retest after taking 10, 000 IU's?
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Dolly,

I'm not sure why you are questioning this level. You are dark skinned, get no sun and unless you are eating pounds of salmon every week then where have you been getting your vitamin d? Probably no where! So why would you EXPECT it to be higher when you are having both severe symptoms of vitamin d and reacting severely to a very low dose of vitamin d! I see levels of less than 4 all the time. It's nothing unusual because everyone, like you, 'thinks' that they get 'plenty' of vitamin d.

Getting a total of 10,000 IU's is LESS THAN ONE DAY'S DOSE for a level as low as yours! So why would you retest right away, don't waste your money. Follow my instructions on the Vitamin D Therapy page and get retested in 3 months.
