Vitamin D Deficiency and Fatigue by: Kerri Knox- The Immune Queen
Hi Connie,
While there are certainly Many Possible Causes of Your Fatigue, Vitamin D Deficiency Fatigue could CERTAINLY be one of them. There have been many studies of apparently "healthy" people- particularly women- with fairly severe Vitamin D deficiency. Among their problems, which included weakness and muscle pain- was fatigue.
And in many cases, the weakness, muscle pain and fatigue all improved when the Vitamin D Deficiency was corrected. So if you have fatigue and you have not been able to find a reason, then get your Vitamin D level checked. I can help you to do an In-Home Vitamin D Test.
Another very overlooked reason for fatigue is hypothyroidism. Even if you have already been checked for hypothyroidism, it's likely that your doctor actually didn't do the right tests!! Thousands of people are suffering needlessly from fatigue because their doctors just aren't educated about the proper thyroid tests to be run.

Thyroid Issues by: Gloria
Yes the doctors often do not want to do all the tests for thyroid issues and when they do the tests they figure that ANYWHERE within the ranges is A OKAY!! Not so! I need my levels at the very top of the range to feel well and usually my Vitamin D levels are within the optimal range except for NOW when I dropped the Vitamin D dose at the doctor's suggestion.
One of my daughters had high antibodies and another one cannot convert and we believe that she and some of my family do not have enough receptors for the T4 so she takes only a T3 medication. And of course doctors are not familiar with that option. Her doctor died in his sleep and the one who took over halved her dose and when the levels dropped she tore a ligament crossing the street.
