Please read Parathyroid.com. That website, and the thread that you had previously added a comment to, discussed this. Vitamin d will NOT bring parathyroid levels down in the presence of high calcium levels, and it could be very dangerous to try.
Vitamin D is the 'cure' for high parathyroid hormone levels ONLY when it is 'secondary' hyperparathyoidism, meaning that your parathyroid hormone is elevated due to vitamin d deficiency and not due to a tumor on the parathyroids or any other reason that is causing you to have a 'broken' calcium metabolism.
