That's a lot of questions
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi April,

That's a LOT of questions and I'll try to answer as best I can in a brief space.

1) and 2) I've outlined how much and what kind of magnesium on the Magnesium Dosage page.

3) Can you take high dose magnesium during pregnancy? There is no good answer to that and so I asked Dr. Carolyn Dean to answer that on my Magnesium in Pregnancy page.

As far as your constipation, you have to ask yourself WHY you are so chronically constipated- and it's likely your diet, even if you think it's 'great' or even if you think it's fantastic, it's almost certainly not even close.

fat

You failed to mention what dosage of vit c u are taking which is made of ascorbic acid which contributes to less fluids in the intestines especially if you do not drink much water, fiber again contributes to constipation if don't drink at least 2 liters of water everyday.

There is no easy solution but i recommend you try fruits like prunes, sultanas and yogurts if you have no problems with lactose but you have to find out whats is fit for you through trail and error cause no two persons are the same in anyway

The pan example
by: Colleen

The pan was just a reference to be used as an example. I am a 62 year old who has suffered constipation all my life. Recently started using the good fats and Walgreens probiotic. My GI system is behaving for the first time in my entire life. As for magnesium I have just ordered a liquid spray for the skin which is said to absorb better and efficiently. Hope it helps.
