MCV Test is 103

my MCV is 103 but my B12 is 870. I take b12 due to gastic bypass I laso have RBC of 4.12 and RDW of 11 and MPV of 7 and WBC of 3.8 but my doctors say no big deal as my HCT and hgb and plalet is normal

B12 Levels

Hi Linda,

Please read my pages on:

Macrocytic Anemia

and

Vitamin B12 Levels, then you'll understand why B12 levels are worthless and should not be used as a marker of anything. Ignore your B12 levels, it's almost certain that you have a B12 deficiency and would benefit from higher supplementation than you are currently using.
