High Vitamin B12 blood count but major deficiency symptoms
A blood test was done the day after my mothers monthly B12 injection and the result said it was 2000 but she still has major hallucinations,hears voices and has anxiety. The only thing we are able to do is self inject daily as this gets her back to normal after a couple of weeks.
Although her Doctor gives her monthly B12 injection this alone seems not enough and he is unaware of us self medicating. Do you think my Mother will have to be on daily 1000ml B12 injections for the rest of her life? She is 75. She also supplements with 5000 mcg spray B12 shots but possibly has absorption problems .
