Nutritional Deficiencies
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Rico,

Hmmm, this is curious, but I might have some solutions for you. First of all, since you actually have diagnosed gluten sensitivity, it was probably pretty bad and damaged your intestinal tract to where you didn't absorb nutrients for a very long time. It's going to be imperative that you don't 'just' eat gluten free, but that you attempt to get 'nutritionally dense' food as well as taking a good assortment of HIGH QUALITY multivitamin and mineral supplement such as Beyond Chelation Improved Multivitamin and Mineral Daily Packs or something equivalent.

Second, it's fairly certain that you have Vitamin B12 Deficiency and/or Vitamin D Deficiency which should both be corrected with aggressive treatment.

Next, it sounds like you may still have some food allergies, not to 'just' gluten. I'd suggest alternately removing corn, soy and dairy for at least 2 to 3 weeks each to see if that has any effect on your symptoms.

I can actually give a lot more recommendations, but that is a good place to start. Once you start doing these things, get back to me and let me know how you are doing...
