If I thought that it was a problem...
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Renee,

For one thing, calcium levels do not rise with vitamin d supplementation unless you become toxic. And second, if this were a problem would I be such a vocal proponent of vitamin D supplementation??

Vitamin D supplements only come in 3 forms:

From Fish oil (quite hard to find)
From lanolin (probably 99% of all supplements)
Sunlight

So, you get lanolin based supplements (which are bioidentical to the Vitamin D3 in our body) unless you choose to do a ton of research and find the few fish based supplements or you lay out in the sun.

But please read my page on Side Effects of Vitamin D to see why you should take a no oil supplement like the Vitamin D Supplements that I offer here. And read the page on Magnesium and Vitamin D to see why you should be taking magnesium.
