Could the Pain in my Feet be from Vitamin D Deficiency

by Kathy

I don't even go outside during the summer as I hate the heat. I am post menopausal also. I read about having chronic pain. The bottoms of my feet have hurt for so long, so I was just wondering if that could be lack of Vitamin D.

I have been taking the Liquid Vitamin D3 Product that you have advertised on your website for kids. Sometimes I only take one drop.

I read that Vitamin D3 is a hormone and too much can harm you. Just wondering how many capsules I should take. I am going to order the Vitamin D3 Supplement you have in your products.

How Much Vitamin D To Take...
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Kathy,

Everyone is different, but one drop per day is not likely to be enough. Please see my page on Vitamin D Therapy page to see how much you should take. You MUST get a vitamin d level.

If you hate the sun, you could be EXTREMELY vitamin d deficient and you may need a VERY high dosage to get within normal levels. It is really the ONLY way to know how much you need and doing otherwise puts you at potential risk for lots of chronic diseases.

And yes, the pain in your feet COULD be a Symptom of Vitamin D Deficiency, but you'll never know unless you get your level up to the 'optimal' recommended level as I outline on the Vitamin D Therapy page.

Your pain could also be a Sign of Magnesium Deficiency too, though. And please read the page on Magnesium and Vitamin D to see why you should always take magnesium with your vitamin d in order to avoid problems with vitamin d 'using up' magnesium.

Yes, you can take too much vitamin d, but you can also take too much water, too much oxygen, too much salt, etc. Everything is toxic at a high enough dose. But if you get a level done and follow my guidelines you will not become toxic.
