I don't know if you have Celiac by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!
Hi Davida,
Celiac Disease is a diagnosis that a doctor gives you, so there is no possible way that I can know if you have Celiac Disease. But if you get off gluten and feel better than you have Gluten Sensitivity. Everyone with Celiac Disease has gluten sensitivity, but not everyone with gluten sensitivity has Celiac.
So, if you want to know if you have Celiac, you need to do a bunch of tests (and be eating gluten for a period of time before the tests) and have your doctor determine if you have Celiac.
Can you be doing anything else? That is a REALLY REALLY vague question. Doing anything else for what? What are you trying to accomplish? You could look around my site and see some of the several THOUSAND pages where people have asked questions about their health and I've answered them.
Or you can look at the pages on Fibromayalgia and see if there is anything that you find interesting there since CFS is practically the same problem as Fibromyalgia.
So, really, spend some time on this site and I'll bet that you find some of the answers that you are looking for.

Gluten free and wondering about it by: Anonymous
If you feel better not eating gluten at least you solved some of the problem. You need to be gluten free for at least 3-6 months to really get a true picture if it is gluten that is the culprit. Keep a food diary and see what reaction you have to certain foods. Most of the time it is gluten and dairy.
It is not that hard to eat gluten free, in fact, you would be eating healthier since you are really watching everything you eat and most of the time it will be something that doesn't have a label on it. I have been gluten free for 6 months and I don't need a test to tell me what I already know- gluten was my enemy.
