Yes, Musculoskeletel Pain
Can be a Symptom of Vitamin D Deficiency

by: Kerri Knox- The Immune Queen

Hi Christine,

That's great that you were able to finally catch your Low Vitamin D Level, but it's amazing that your doctor is telling you that that your pain can't be a Symptom of Vitamin D Deficiency!

There are dozens upon dozens of studies showing that 'normal healthy' people who have diffuse musculoskeletal pain, are very often Vitamin D deficient.

More importantly, people with pain who are Vitamin D deficient often have reduced pain when treated for Vitamin D Deficiency!

So, Christine, the pain that you are experiencing may or may not be a Symptom of Vitamin D Deficiency, but since it COULD be and your doctors have not been able to find any other causes- you DESERVE to have AGGRESSIVE Treatment for Vitamin D Deficiency in order to see if that resolves your pain.

The Easiest Way Yet
To Get Your Vitamin D

Here is a report on vitamin d and pain entitled Vitamin D, a Neglected Analgesic that you can print out and take to your doctor to show him that, yes, your pain- and even the muscle spasms, tingling and numbness that you are experiencing- could very well be a symptom of Vitamin D deficiency.

Same problem

Hello all,

I'm having Te same issue. I have mild pain in my rib cage and. Back of it. My doctor looked at me like I was crazy when I asked him if the pain might be from vitamin D deficiency. Last year my results on vita D were very low and he prescribed 50,000 iuc twice a week but then I thought I was wonder woman and decided to stop taking them. Then, I didn't experience any pain or I can't remember. 3 weeks ago I got blood work back and my levels were 34 and range is 34-100. I am clearly borderline. I have been prescribed 50k units per week only. I feel a lil better but still have a lil pain. On a range from 1-10 I'd say is a 2 or 3 which it might be a lot but I just don't want to feel any pain!! So the doctor since according to him I was beig Paranoid, he decided to prescribe chest X-rays to check my lungs and also. X-rays for ribs. Everything came back to normal. Help!!!

[Kerri's Note: Easy, stop thinking that you are wonder woman and take vitamin d year round so that your levels are consistently between 40 to 50 ng/ml. Problem solved!]
