Ignore the D2 on the Lab Report... by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!
No, humans don't naturally HAVE D2 in our blood, the only reason they even draw it is for those cases where doctors are giving D2.
So, a level of less than 4 is perfectly normal.
I actually give an example of a lab test on the Fact Sheet on Vitamin D that you can take a look at.
I actually find it interesting that you managed to get your level up to 94 ng/ml on 2000 IU's per day. Are you also getting sun or eating salmon or herring regularly?
I would expect you to have a level closer to 40 ng/ml or even less than that. So, unless you plan on getting a significant amount of sun this summer, you may want to recheck your level in a month or two and see if that level is really correct.

I just received my test results for a possible Vitamin D deficiency.
My Vitamin D OH, D3 was 22 Vitamin D Oh, D2 was <4 Total:22
Never had this test done before, guess this is not good??

Vitamin D test results below, not sure if my levels are good. Currently taking Vitamin supplement 50,000IU per week. Next Doctors appointment is scheduled for late December. Just wondering if I should increase my Vitamin D intake.
