Can h pylori cause facial flushing, high BP, or reactive size lymph nodes?

2 hours before an episode.

2 hours before an episode.

After 2 almost 3 years of some strange symptoms that kept getting worse rover the years. I have been diagnosed with H. Pylori. I get the common stuff like heart burn, acid reflux, occasional unexplain vomiting, bloating, gas, abdominal pains. But when everything started to happen I only had heartburn, lots of gas and Nose bleeds.

Then developed high blood pressure, facial flushing. Then we started noticing some bloating. And occasional low grade fevers. And every time a scan of the upper body was done, we were finding reactive size lymph nodes in chest and neck. Every scan months and or year apart, despite blood work saying I had not signs of infection. Only signs of inflammation. And the weight I have gain at least 50p.

So many trips to the doctor or er for sudden unexplained pains. Could the h pylori be responsible for it all, including the facial flushing, low grade temps, high blood pressed, and reactive size lymp nodes?

Can it cause what looks like anafalatic reactions? It's my newest symptoms. My face gets hot I start to flush badly and the nodes under the chin swell large, feel dizzy and very tiered...

I have before and after pics of this because me and my daughter was playing and taking selfies so I have a pic of myself a couple hours before I had an episode.

Unlikely

Hi Diane,

It's EXTREMELY unlikely that any of that is caused by the H pylori, but there is one way to find out. Get rid of the H pylori and see if you still have problems.

If you do, then I would look at food allergies next. Keep a food diary of everything you eat and when you have episodes and see if there is a correlation to something you are eating.

You might even want to get a Food Allergy Test since your reaction is so severe.

Very likley caused by h pylori please check out dr Amy yasko website for videos and more info than you would ever want. Btw h pylori causes foods sensativities so you'll keep getting food issues til you kill the pylori. High bp is not typical but flushing and weight gain food sensitivity are hallmarks of disease.

I am being tested for H Pylori in two weeks. I started with gas belching and bloating and nausea. Then end of Jan my face began first in right cheek then both and nose and chin hot to the touch pink to red in color steroids only made it al a lot worse!. When a flare is bad I get nausea and chills. Also the lymph nodes under my jawline became inflamed. I also have before and after pics. Cold packs provide temporary relief. I believe symptoms can vary from person to person for example no vomiting for me thank goodness.

H pylori

I have had h pylori twice and I think I have it again. I changed family Drs wasn't satisfied with my NP. I did not know this until then and I want to share it in case you haven't heard it from your Dr. Once you have been diagnosed with h pylori my new Dr said you would always test positive for it in your blood. After first positive will need to do the breath test and there is another one I'm thinking stool. After finding that out I did research and blood tests can come back false positive. I always know when I have it and need to be checked. I think I have it again but having more and different symptoms that I didn't before. I know something is wrong but it could be a number of different things to do with the digestive system. Just wanted to share that because I was tested both times through my blood. I've noticed they don't say anything about it in research unless you specify it! Hope this helps.
