by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Anytime anyone has high or borderline high calcium levels, the doctor has the OBLIGATION to make sure that there is not parathyroid disease.

Please take a look at all of the great information on Parathyroid.com and see what and how the diagnosis of parathyroid disease happens. This is the number one reason why people get high Blood Calcium Levels and it is absolutely essential that your doctor look into this.

As far as his painful joints are concerned, that may or may not have anything to do with his high calcium levels and you may want to take a look at my pages on Gluten Sensitivity as well as my page on Vitamin D and Pain.

Either one of these conditions could be causing his joint pain and his doctor can do some testing for both of these as well.

So that's a start for you. Get him tested for parathyroid, vitamin d and gluten sensitivity and let us know what the doctors find out.
